Blueberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Slowly whisk in the water until smooth.
- Add the blueberries, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stir constantly. Cook until thick, about 2 - 3 minutes. Some blueberries will remain whole. Makes 3/4 cup.
